I drove East on I94 in intermittent rain showers from Bismarck, North Dakota to St. Paul, Minnesota. The rain reminded me of a September trip I had taken to Tennessee.
In May 2017, I road tripped in Idaho. My favorite places were Craters of the Moon National Park, Hells Canyon, Coeur d’Alene, and Boise. It was hot in Boise.
I’ve not seen North Dakota listed on any Top 10 Places to Visit. I’ve heard visitors speak about N.D. because they passed through on their way to somewhere else. I was born and raised there, and I didn’t know about my affinity for the prairie until I moved away and returned.
