When I was slightly taller than an average carryon, I pronounced the word ‘suitcase’ as ‘snootcase.’ My family jokes that my suitcase is always packed. Travel satiates my wanderlust and curiosity and refills my personal and creative well.
I moved to Minnesota several years ago. In that time I’ve been exploring parks, prairie, small towns, big cities, festivals, landmarks, and the unordinary. If you come to Minnesota chances are you will be flying into the Minneapolis/St. Paul (MSP), aka the Twin Cities, airport. Alaska Road Trip: Day 3
The Watson Lake Sign Post Forest, roadside art, and a view of the Yukon River in Whitehorse, Yukon plus a massive clothespin collection. After leaving Whitehorse we encountered wild horses, a mama bear & her cubs, & found some pasque flowers.

I and a friend/former co-worker drove 2400 miles in 4.5 days. Starting in Seattle, WA we passed through the Sumas U.S./Canadian border on a Wednesday evening as the first part of our road trip to Alaska.
